Jusuf Gazibegović

Jusuf Gazibegović is a Bosnia and Herzegovina international right-back born in Salzburg, Austria, on 11 March 2000. He began at Austria Salzburg before joining Red Bull Salzburg’s academy in 2011 and progressing to feeder club FC Liefering, where he debuted in March 2018. In September 2020, Gazibegović moved to Sturm Graz, establishing himself as a regular right-sided defender. With Sturm, he helped win the Austrian Bundesliga and multiple Austrian Cups, while also gaining European experience. Gazibegović chose Bosnia and Herzegovina after captaining the under-19 side and made his senior debut against Montenegro on 2 June 2021. Primarily a right-back, he has also been used on the left or as a wing-back, contributing through pressing, overlapping runs and defensive recovery work. He is currently listed with Widzew Łódź.
