Jimer Esteban Fory Mejía
Jimer Esteban Fory Mejía is a Colombian midfielder born in Santander de Quilichao on 24 May 2002. He developed at the Escuela de Fútbol América Pedro Sellares and began playing as a forward before moving into a deeper role. Fory joined Atlético Nacional and made his professional debut in October 2020. With Nacional, he was part of the squads that won the 2021 Copa Colombia and Categoría Primera A Apertura. A loan to Deportivo Pereira in 2022 brought another major achievement, as he contributed to the club’s Clausura title. Fory later played for Independiente Medellín, reaching the quarter-finals of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana. In 2023, he scored twice in 10 Copa Libertadores appearances for Pereira. He is a Colombia U23 international and joined Portland Timbers permanently in February 2025.
