Jesús David Ferreira Castro

Jesús David Ferreira Castro is a forward born in Santa Marta, Colombia, on 24 December 2000. He moved to Dallas at age 10 when his father joined FC Dallas and developed in the club’s academy. He made his FC Dallas first-team debut in 2017, becoming the club’s youngest debutant and scorer after scoring against Real Salt Lake. In 2018, Ferreira went on loan to FC Tulsa, where he scored six goals in 14 matches. Returning to Dallas, he established himself as a regular attacker and in 2022 became the club’s first Homegrown Designated Player, while tying its single-season scoring record with 18 goals. He also represented the United States, scoring hat-tricks in consecutive 2023 Gold Cup matches. In 2025, Ferreira moved to Seattle Sounders, where he has also operated as an attacking midfielder and creative wide or central forward.
