Jack Stuart Elliott

Jack Stuart Elliott is an English defender born in London on 25 August 1995. At 12, he was released by Fulham's academy and later played amateur football for Old Wilsonians while attending Wilson's School. After being scouted by West Virginia coach Dan Stratford, Elliott moved to the United States in 2013 and spent four years anchoring the Mountaineers' back line. Philadelphia Union selected him 77th overall in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. Injuries opened a place in his rookie season, and he established himself in Philadelphia's defense, finishing third in MLS Rookie of the Year voting. Elliott helped the Union win the 2020 Supporters' Shield and scored twice in the 2022 MLS Cup Final against LAFC. He joined Chicago Fire before the 2025 season, continuing his MLS career as a center-back whose passing aids buildup and aerial presence threatens at set pieces.
