Jakub Elbel

Jakub Elbel is a Czech football defender who developed in the Opava area before progressing through the Czech senior game. He spent his youth years with FK Slavia Opava from 2007 to 2014 and Slezský FC Opava from 2014 to 2018. Elbel began his senior career at FK Prepere, playing in the Bohemian Football League between 2019 and 2021. He then moved to SK Prostějov, where he competed in the Czech National Football League from 2022 to 2024 and contributed goals from defense. In February 2024, Elbel joined Sigma Olomouc, the club listed as his current team. At Olomouc, he is primarily used at left-back while also covering centre-back, giving the side flexibility across the defensive line. His aerial work and ability to contribute in build-up play complement that positional versatility.
