Joris Cottin

Joris Cottin is a French midfielder whose career has developed through the lower levels of French football. Born on 16 August 1995, Joris Cottin came through local clubs including Vallée du Guiers and Nivolet before joining Chambéry Savoie Foot in 2013. He spent five years with Chambéry, building senior experience before continuing his progression elsewhere in the regional game. In 2020–21, Cottin represented Rumilly Vallières during the club’s remarkable Coupe de France campaign. The National 2 side reached the semi-finals, where Cottin played against AS Monaco in a high-profile meeting with professional opposition. Although Rumilly Vallières were beaten, the run gave Cottin one of the defining occasions of his career. In June 2022, he moved to Andrézieux-Bouthéon FC, where he spent two seasons. Cottin joined Hauts Lyonnais in July 2024, bringing experience from Chambéry, Rumilly Vallières and Andrézieux-Bouthéon to his current midfield role.
