Julian Jeffrey Gaston Chabot

Julian Jeffrey Gaston Chabot is a German defender who plays primarily at centre-back. Born in Hanau on 12 February 1998, he developed in the academies of SV Darmstadt 98, Eintracht Frankfurt, 1. FC Nürnberg and RB Leipzig before pursuing senior football abroad. Chabot began that professional path with Sparta Rotterdam and FC Groningen in the Netherlands from 2017 to 2019. He then moved to Italy, representing Sampdoria and spending time on loan at Spezia, where he continued to develop his defensive game. In January 2022, Chabot returned to Germany with 1. FC Köln, a move that became permanent in 2023. After Köln’s relegation in 2024, he joined VfB Stuttgart and became part of their defensive group. At 1.95 metres, Chabot offers strong aerial ability and physical presence while also contributing to build-up play from the back.
