Jonathan Henry Bond

Jonathan Henry Bond is an English goalkeeper from Hemel Hempstead, born on 19 May 1993. He joined Watford’s academy at age 10 and signed his first professional contract there in July 2010. Loan spells with Brackley Town, Forest Green Rovers and Bury provided early senior experience before he returned to Watford, where he made 33 appearances. In 2015, Bond moved to Reading, then joined West Bromwich Albion in 2018, serving largely as a reserve goalkeeper and belonging to the squad that secured promotion to the Premier League in 2020. He switched to Major League Soccer in January 2021, signing for the LA Galaxy. Bond made 93 appearances for Los Angeles, recording 12 saves in a 1–0 shutout against the San Jose Earthquakes in 2021, and was named the club’s Defender of the Year in 2022. After briefly returning to Watford in 2024, he joined Houston Dynamo in April 2025, bringing extensive experience to the club.
