Justin Bijlow

Justin Bijlow is a Dutch goalkeeper born in Rotterdam on January 22, 1998. He developed through Feyenoord’s youth academy at Varkenoord, progressing through the club’s ranks before joining the senior setup. After working as an understudy to Brad Jones and Kenneth Vermeer, Bijlow made his professional debut against ADO Den Haag in 2017. He established himself as Feyenoord’s first-choice goalkeeper during the 2018–19 season, combining reflex saves with proactive positioning and distribution. Bijlow was part of the Feyenoord team that won the Eredivisie in 2022–23, contributing to a side built around an adventurous defensive line. He made his Netherlands debut in 2021, although recurring foot, ankle and wrist injuries have repeatedly disrupted his progress and international opportunities. A modern sweeper-keeper, Bijlow is valued for managing space behind the defence, claiming crosses and distributing accurately with his right foot.
