Jean-Ricner Bellegarde
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is a central midfielder born in Colombes, France, on 27 June 1998. He developed at Lens and made his senior breakthrough there, captaining the first team against Auxerre in May 2018 at 19. In 2019, Bellegarde joined Strasbourg, where he established himself in Ligue 1 and operated as both a deeper midfielder and a more advanced central player. His strongest campaign in France came in 2022/23, when he scored and assisted in Strasbourg’s 2–1 opening-day victory over Lyon. He moved to Wolves in September 2023 and made his Premier League debut against Liverpool later that month. At Wolves, Bellegarde has filled central, attacking-midfield and wide roles, while his carrying, direct passing and defensive work help connect defence with attack. He also represented France from under-18 to under-21 level before becoming involved with Haiti.
