Jonathan Bell
Jonathan Bell is an American defender from Rockville, Maryland, whose professional path developed from collegiate football into Major League Soccer. At UMBC, he moved from wide midfield and fullback duties toward a central defensive role, making 56 appearances between 2016 and 2019. Selected 38th overall by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft, Bell instead began his professional career with New England Revolution II before earning a first-team contract. In 2023, St. Louis City selected Bell in the Expansion Draft, and he later continued his MLS career with Seattle Sounders. Bell made his Jamaica debut in 2023 and started against Venezuela at the 2024 Copa América. In 2026, he joined Austin as a free agent, adding left-sided defensive cover and further experience to his career.
