Juan Camilo Becerra Maya
Juan Camilo Becerra Maya is a Colombian forward from Valledupar who stands 1.82 metres tall. He developed in the Udinese-affiliated academy in Barranquilla before moving to Granada in 2016 and making his senior debut for the club’s reserves the following year. In 2017, Becerra joined Watford’s system and gained experience on loan with Real Valladolid Promesas, Teruel and Cornellà, scoring three, six and five goals respectively. He signed for Espanyol’s B team in 2020 and scored 11 goals in 26 matches during the 2020–21 season. Becerra then moved to Ponferradina, making his professional debut in August 2021, although his loan ended early the following January. After returning to Colombia with Envigado and later playing for Lleida Esportiu and Tudelano, he joined FC Santa Coloma in Andorra. Becerra’s career has combined centre-forward play with target-man duties, link-up work and pressing across Spanish and Andorran football.
