Jóhannes Karl Bárðarson
Jóhannes Karl Bárðarson is an Icelandic midfielder born on 24 September 2003. He developed in Víkingur Reykjavík’s youth system and progressed through its Under-19 side before joining the senior squad structure in October 2022. In 2023, he gained senior experience with Aegir in Iceland’s second tier. Bárðarson later moved to Thróttur Vogum, where he established himself through regular involvement in the 2. deild. He recorded 1,624 minutes during the 2024 season and made 19 appearances for 1,243 minutes in 2025. Those campaigns marked a progression from youth football and limited senior opportunities to sustained competitive playing time.
