Juan Andrés Balanta Palacios
Juan Andrés Balanta Palacios is a Colombian midfielder born in Caloto on 3 March 1997. He developed at Deportivo Cali and made his senior debut in 2014, recording 15 appearances and one goal for the club between 2014 and 2016. Balanta then spent 2017 on loan at Cúcuta Deportivo, followed by a 2018 loan to Jaguares de Córdoba and a brief 2019 loan at Panama’s Tauro FC. He moved to Portugal, joining AD Oliveirense for 2019–20 before playing two seasons with Canelas 2010, where he made 52 appearances and scored five goals. In 2022, Balanta joined Torreense and accumulated 83 appearances through 2025. His roles developed from wide or attacking positions toward central midfield, with defensive-midfield duties also reported. In July 2025, he moved to Ararat-Armenia, continuing his career in the Armenian Premier League.
