Johan Johanessen Bakke

Johan Johanessen Bakke is a Norwegian midfielder who has developed through the country’s professional football system. Born in Norway in 2004, he came through the Sogndal academy and made his senior debut in the OBOS-ligaen in 2020. Bakke moved to Molde in January 2022, joining a club competing for major domestic honours and European opportunities. During his Molde spell, he was part of teams that won the 2022 Eliteserien title and Norwegian Cups in 2022 and 2023. He also made his full Eliteserien debut in a 4–1 victory over Viking. After a brief period with Strømsgodset in 2025, Bakke joined Rosenborg in February 2026. A central midfielder standing 186 centimetres tall, Johan Bakke can contribute from a deeper role or support play higher up the pitch, and he has represented Norway at under-21 level.
