Julián Vicente Araujo Zúñiga

Julián Vicente Araujo Zúñiga is a Mexico international right-back born in Lompoc, California, on 13 August 2001. He developed with the Central Coast Condors and Santa Barbara Soccer Club before joining the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona in 2017. Araujo began his professional career with Los Angeles Galaxy in 2019, progressing from teenager to an established MLS defender. In January 2023, he moved to Barcelona after a transfer saga, although registration restrictions delayed his first-team involvement. He then joined Las Palmas on loan for the 2023–24 season, gaining La Liga experience and scoring once. Barcelona sold Araujo to Bournemouth in August 2024, giving him a route into English football. Internationally, he represented the United States at youth level and as a senior before switching allegiance to Mexico in 2021, later helping Mexico win the 2023 and 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cups.
