Jon Mikel Aramburu Mejías

Jon Mikel Aramburu Mejías is a Venezuelan right-back born in Caracas on 23 July 2002. He began his football education at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, where structured schooling was combined with competitive local football. Between 2016 and 2017, Aramburu joined Real Sociedad’s youth academy through his Basque family connections. FIFA regulations concerning the international transfer of minors then forced him to return to Venezuela, interrupting that first European spell. He continued developing with Deportivo La Guaira before moving back to Spain, where he was associated with Real Unión. Aramburu subsequently joined Real Sociedad, the club listed as his current team. He also represents Venezuela internationally, giving the defender experience in both domestic and national-team football.
