Jákup Biskopstø Andreasen
Jákup Biskopstø Andreasen is a Faroese defensive midfielder who has spent his senior club career with KÍ Klaksvík. He entered the club’s senior setup in 2015, developing into a regular presence in its midfield. Andreasen helped KÍ win the Faroe Islands Premier League title in 2019, 2021 and 2022. In the 2023–24 season, he captained the side during its historic European campaign, which culminated in qualification for the UEFA Conference League group stage. Internationally, he represented the Faroe Islands at under-19 and under-21 level before making his senior debut in a 1–0 win over Andorra on 6 September 2020. In possession, Andreasen is used to recycle the ball, protect the back four and begin attacks from deep. He continues to represent both KÍ Klaksvík and the Faroe Islands.
