Junior Chukwubuike Adamu
Junior Adamu attacks space, runs beyond the line and threatens the back post for SC Freiburg. He joined Freiburg from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023. Adamu thrives coming off the bench. He made his professional debut for FC Liefering in November 2018, then went on loan to FC St. Gallen in February 2021 where he scored 6 goals in 14 appearances. In August 2021 Adamu scored his first competitive goal for Red Bull Salzburg and made his UEFA Champions League debut in the play-off against Brøndby. He earned his first senior Austria cap in November 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Israel. Adamu presses from the front, links play with short passes and looks to get shots off quickly, driving at defenders and finishing moves for Freiburg.
