Jevgēņijs Ņerugals

Jevgēņijs Ņerugals is a Latvian goalkeeper born in Daugavpils on 26 February 1989. He began his senior career in his home city before establishing himself with Daugavpils / Progress in Latvian football. Ņerugals later joined Spartaks Jūrmala, where he built a substantial run of league appearances between 2017 and 2022. During that spell, he also featured in UEFA Champions League and Europa League qualifying, gaining experience in European competition. His performances earned Ņerugals a Latvia debut in 2018, and he has been credited with one senior international cap. He moved to Rīgas FS in 2022 and remains associated with the club, also appearing in its structured squad pathway through Rīgas FS II. At 190 centimetres, Ņerugals offers the experience of a long-serving domestic goalkeeper and has been described as comfortable contributing to play with the ball.
