Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez

Isco, whose full name is Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, is a Spanish attacking midfielder from Benalmádena. He developed at Atlético Benamiel before joining Valencia’s academy in 2006, progressing to Valencia Mestalla and making four senior appearances for the club. In 2011, Isco moved to Málaga, where his technical play helped him establish himself under Manuel Pellegrini and earn the 2012 Golden Boy award. Real Madrid signed him in 2013, and he spent nine seasons at the club, contributing to a trophy-winning era that included five Champions League titles and three La Liga championships. He also started the 2017 and 2018 Champions League finals, operating in midfield as Madrid secured successive European crowns. After leaving Madrid, Isco had a brief spell with Sevilla before joining Real Betis in 2023. He has represented Spain, notably scoring twice against Italy in a 2017 World Cup qualifying victory.
