Iker Muñoz Cameros

Iker Muñoz is a Spanish defensive midfielder from Villafranca who developed through Osasuna’s Tajonar academy. He began his youth career with CD Oberena before joining Osasuna’s setup in 2018. Muñoz made his reserve-team debut for Osasuna B in November 2019 and became a regular during the 2021–22 season. His progress led to a first-team debut on 12 February 2023, when he replaced Lucas Torró against Real Valladolid. On 17 September 2023, he scored his first professional goal, equalising against Getafe. Muñoz also earned a call-up to Spain’s under-21 team, adding international recognition to his rise through Osasuna’s structure. At Osasuna, he operates as a screening midfielder who protects the defence, contests second balls and supports buildup from deep.
