İsmail Yüksek

İsmail Yüksek is a Turkish defensive midfielder for Fenerbahçe. Born in Bursa in 1999, he developed through local football and spent time in Bursaspor’s system before beginning his senior career with Gölcükspor in 2018. Fenerbahçe signed Yüksek in 2020, then sent him on loan to Balıkesirspor and Adana Demirspor as he gained experience in the professional game. He later returned to Bursa with Bursaspor, where he became a regular starter during the 2021–22 season. His progress earned him a place in Fenerbahçe’s first-team plans during the 2022–23 pre-season, after which he established himself in midfield. Yüksek also moved into Türkiye’s senior setup in September 2022, bypassing the country’s youth teams. At Fenerbahçe, İsmail Yüksek provides ball-winning, defensive coverage and forward momentum, while his physical work suits a holding or double-pivot role.
