Ivan Orlinov Yordanov

Ivan Orlinov Yordanov is a Bulgarian midfielder who developed through several stages of the Ludogorets system. Born on 7 November 2000, he began playing with FC Rakovski before joining Botev 2002 in Plovdiv in 2010. At Ludogorets, which he joined in 2017, Yordanov entered the under-19 side, won a national championship and progressed to Ludogorets II. He made his professional debut for the reserve team in Bulgaria’s Second League against Montana on 13 May 2018. Yordanov reached Ludogorets’ first team in 2019 and was promoted into a more established senior role in 2021. A loan spell with Spartak Varna in 2023 provided further senior experience, while he later scored his first UEFA goal against Spartak Trnava. Yordanov has also been involved with Bulgaria and remains part of Ludogorets’ current squad.
