Ignas Venckus

Ignas Venckus is a Lithuanian forward who plays for Banga. Born on 17 July 2001, he developed in Klaipėda with Klaipėdos FM before joining FK Koralas Klaipėda. Venckus moved from Koralas to FK Banga Gargždai as a free agent in March 2019, beginning the main chapter of his senior career. He later joined FK Panevėžys in early 2024, where he was used mainly as a rotational option, before returning to Banga first on loan and then permanently. In the 2025 A Lyga season, Venckus scored eight goals, his most productive recorded campaign. Primarily a centre-forward, he can also operate on the left wing or in right midfield, adding variety to his attacking role. He has also represented Lithuania at under-21 level.
