Ignace Van der Brempt

Ignace Van der Brempt is a Belgian right-back born in Antwerpen on 1 April 2002. He developed with Club Brugge KV, where his defensive education began in Belgian football and his athletic profile allowed him to cover more than one role. Van der Brempt then continued his career with Red Bull Salzburg, gaining experience in the Austrian Bundesliga. He later moved to Germany, representing Hamburger SV in the 2. Bundesliga. Across those stages, he has operated primarily at right-back while also featuring as a right midfielder and centre-back. Van der Brempt subsequently arrived at Como and is part of the Italian club’s current squad, extending a career that has crossed Belgium, Austria, Germany and Italy.
