Ilya Rutskiy

Ilya Rutskiy is a Belarusian defender, primarily a right-back, born in Brest on 3 December 1999. He developed in the Dinamo Minsk academy before entering senior football with Belshina Bobruisk in 2018, initially featuring for the reserve side. In 2020, Rutskiy joined Sputnik Rechitsa on loan and gained first-team experience. He moved to Slavia Mozyr in 2021 and became a regular during a three-year spell, making 68 appearances and scoring twice. In 2024, Rutskiy joined Torpedo Zhodino, where he remains part of the club’s squad. His documented role has mainly been on the right flank, although he has also been listed at left-back and right midfield. At 1.76 metres, Ilya Rutskiy has continued his career in Belarusian top-flight football.
