Ionuț Andrei Radu

Ionuț Andrei Radu is a Romanian goalkeeper born in Bucharest on 28 May 1997. He began developing in Bucharest, progressing through Viitorul București, Steaua București and Dinamo București before moving to Italy in 2013. After a brief period with Pergolettese, Radu joined Inter’s Primavera setup and made his senior debut as a substitute in May 2016. He gained important Serie A experience with Genoa from 2018 to 2020, establishing himself as a regular starter before returning to Inter. Radu made a notable league appearance against Bologna in April 2022, when a miskick preceded Nicola Sansone’s goal. Later career moves took him to Auxerre and Bournemouth before his arrival at Celta Vigo, where he is currently registered. Internationally, Radu captained Romania’s under-21 side during its run to the 2019 European Championship semi-finals and has also represented the senior national team.
