Ivan Ordets
Ivan Ordets is a Ukrainian centre-back born in Blyzhne in 1992. He developed at Shakhtar Donetsk, joining the academy in 2002, and later gained senior experience during loan spells at Illichivets Mariupol. Ordets made his Ukrainian Premier League debut in 2013 before returning to Shakhtar for the 2014–15 season. With the Donetsk club, he won three Ukrainian Premier League titles and four Ukrainian Cups between 2016 and 2019. He also represented Ukraine, making his international debut in 2014. In 2019, Ordets moved to Dynamo Moscow, where he spent three seasons before joining VfL Bochum amid the geopolitical upheaval of 2022. At Bochum, the towering defender worked in a pressured Bundesliga defence, contributing clearances, blocks and aerial strength. He left Bochum in 2025 and joined Aktobe in 2026, extending a career across Ukrainian, Russian, German and Kazakh football.
