Igoh Ogbu

Igoh Ogbu is a Nigerian football defender, born in Jos on February 8, 2000. He began his professional career with Gombe United before moving to Norway, where he joined Rosenborg in 2018. After limited opportunities, Ogbu continued his development on loan at Levanger and Sogndal, later making his move to Sogndal permanent in 2020. He established himself at Lillestrøm, recording 54 league appearances and four goals across two seasons from 2021. In January 2023, Ogbu transferred to Slavia Praha, adding Czech football and European competition to his experience. Standing 1.87 metres tall, he brings physical presence to central defence and has also been noted for his contribution at set pieces. Ogbu represented Nigeria at under-20 level in 2019 and received a senior call-up in 2025.
