Ivan Nevistić

Ivan Nevistić is a Croatian goalkeeper born in Đakovo on 31 July 1998. He began developing with HNK Đakovo-Croatia before joining the HNK Rijeka academy in 2015. Nevistić then built senior experience through loan spells with Varaždin, Slovenia’s Mura, Rijeka and Lokomotiva Zagreb. His return to Varaždin during the 2019–20 season marked an important step, as regular football accelerated his progress. During the 2020–21 Europa League campaign, he represented Rijeka against Napoli, Real Sociedad and AZ Alkmaar, gaining experience against high-level European opposition. Dinamo Zagreb signed Nevistić in 2021 and subsequently continued his development with loan moves before bringing him into their first-team plans after Dominik Livaković’s departure in 2023. He has since competed for Dinamo in domestic and European football, while his earlier involvement with Croatia’s youth teams, from under-14 to under-21 level, formed his principal international experience.
