Idan Nachmias
Idan Nachmias is an Israeli central defender, born on 17 March 1997. He developed in northern Israel before progressing through the Ironi Kiryat Shmona system, where he made his professional debut in May 2017. Nachmias established himself at Kiryat Shmona before joining Maccabi Tel Aviv in July 2021. With Maccabi, he gained domestic and European experience and contributed to the club’s 2023/24 Israeli Premier League and Toto Cup successes, followed by the 2024/25 Israel Super Cup. He made his senior Israel debut in October 2020, coming on late in a victory over Slovakia. In August 2025, Nachmias moved abroad to Ludogorets, adding Bulgarian football and further continental competition to his career. At 1.90 metres, he offers aerial strength and supports build-up play with composed passing from central defence.
