Ingi Jonhardsson
Ingi Jonhardsson is a Faroe Islands midfielder who plays on the left for Víkingur Gøta. Born on 11 September 2001, he joined the club’s senior structure in January 2020 and developed through involvement with the first team and Víkingur II. Jonhardsson established himself in the domestic game, recording more than 800 top-flight minutes by 2021 and 1,276 league minutes in 2022. He also featured in the 2022 Faroe Islands Cup final against KÍ Klaksvík. During 2023–25, he remained part of Víkingur’s senior setup, exceeding 1,000 league minutes in 2024 and appearing in the 2025 European qualifying campaign. His recent experience included starts in Champions League qualifying and Conference League matches, including a full game against Linfield. Jonhardsson has also represented the Faroe Islands at under-21 level in European Championship qualifying.
