Isak Malcolm Kwaku Hien

Isak Malcolm Kwaku Hien is a Swedish defender born in Kista on 13 January 1999. He developed in Sweden and joined Djurgardens IF, where his 2022 campaign helped establish him as a prominent centre-back. Hellas Verona then brought Hien to Italy in August 2022, giving him experience in Serie A and a relegation playoff. Atalanta signed him in January 2024, adding him to a squad competing at the highest level of Italian football. At 1.91 metres, Hien offers a strong aerial presence and the mobility to defend space in an aggressive, high-line system, while also contributing to build-up play.
