Ibe Tom Hautekiet

Ibe Tom Hautekiet is a Belgian defender who progressed from Club Brugge’s academy to Standard Liège. Born in Kortrijk on 13 April 2002, he developed in Belgium before joining Club Brugge in 2017. Hautekiet made his professional debut for Club NXT, Brugge’s reserve side, against RWDM in the Belgian First Division B on 22 August 2020. He was also part of the Club Brugge squad that won the 2022–23 Belgian Super Cup. On 31 January 2023, he moved to Standard Liège, beginning a new stage in his senior career. At Standard, Hautekiet developed into a regular centre-back after a limited role in the 2023–24 season. Standing 1.88 metres tall, he contributes through aerial challenges, interceptions and simple build-up passing, offering a physical presence in the defensive line.
