Ion Ghimp
Ion Ghimp is a Moldovan defender who was born on 11 September 1996. He appeared for Speranța Nisporeni in the Moldovan league during the 2019 season. Ghimp then joined Milsami Orhei, where he made 25 appearances in the 2020/21 campaign. In April 2022, he moved to Dacia Buiucani before spending the latter part of 2023 with Sparta Selemet. He returned to Milsami Orhei as a free agent on 25 February 2024 and is listed in the club’s current squad. Ghimp has also featured in UEFA club competition, including Champions League qualifying and Conference League matches. In the 2025/26 Super Liga campaign, he recorded two goals in 17 appearances, adding an attacking contribution to his defensive work.
