Ignatius Kpene Ganago

Ignatius Kpene Ganago is a Cameroonian forward born in Douala in 1999. He developed at the École de Football Brasseries du Cameroun before moving to France and joining Nice in 2017. Ganago made his Ligue 1 debut for Nice against Monaco in September 2017 and scored after coming on as a substitute. In 2020, he transferred to Lens, where he became a more regular attacking option and recorded seven goals and three assists during the 2020–21 season. Nantes signed Ganago in 2022, adding a forward capable of operating centrally or from wide areas. He scored the winning goal against Angers in June 2023 as Nantes secured Ligue 1 survival. Ganago has also represented Cameroon, including at the Africa Cup of Nations, continuing an international career alongside his club football.
