Ian Charles Michael Fray
Ian Charles Michael Fray is a Jamaican centre-back for Inter Miami, born in Coconut Creek, Florida, in 2002. He developed with Weston FC and Miramar United before joining the Inter Miami academy in 2019. Fray stood out for Inter Miami II, earning selection to the 2020 USL League One All-League Second Team. Inter Miami signed him as a Homegrown Player in January 2021, but three ACL injuries delayed his senior breakthrough. He made his professional debut as a substitute against Nashville SC in May 2023 and scored his first senior goal against D.C. United the following month. Primarily a centre-back, Ian Fray has also operated at right-back, contributing calm distribution and recovery work from the back line. He chose Jamaica internationally and made his debut in a 2025 World Cup qualifier against Curaçao.
