Ibrahima Breze Fofana

Ibrahima Breze Fofana is a Guinean midfielder born in Conakry on 15 August 2002. He developed in Guinea with FC Atouga and Diamants de Guinée before moving to Belgium. In September 2020, Fofana joined Club Brugge after a trial and continued his development with Club NXT, the club’s reserve side. He made nine appearances in the Belgian second tier during the 2020–21 season and trained with Brugge’s senior squad. In 2022, he moved to Sweden and entered Hammarby FF’s system, initially playing for Hammarby TFF before progressing to the senior team in 2023. A loan spell with Kocaelispor added Turkish football experience before his return to Sweden. At Hammarby, Fofana has increasingly taken on defensive duties while retaining the ball-playing qualities of a midfielder, and he made his senior Guinea debut against Niger in November 2025.
