İrfan Can Eğribayat

İrfan Can Eğribayat is a Turkish professional goalkeeper born in Adana on 30 June 1998. He developed at Adanaspor, beginning there at nine, and signed his first professional contract in 2014. At 16, he made his senior debut in a 4–3 TFF First League victory over Elazığspor, and he helped Adanaspor reach the Süper Lig in 2015–16. His performances also brought 19 appearances for Türkiye’s youth sides from under-16 through under-21. In September 2020, Eğribayat moved to Göztepe, where he quickly established himself as a starter and made 35 appearances during the 2020–21 season. He accumulated 65 league appearances for Göztepe before joining Fenerbahçe in August 2022, initially on loan and later permanently. At Fenerbahçe, he produced a key penalty save against NK Maribor in his 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League debut. Standing 1.93 metres, he is described as a sweeper-keeper who combines reflex saves with high positioning, area command, and distribution from the back.
