Issa Ibrahim Djibrilla

Issa Ibrahim Djibrilla is a Nigerien attacker from Niamey, born in 1996. He developed with Sahel SC, where he emerged as a forward or winger and established himself in Niger’s domestic game between 2018 and 2020. In 2020, Djibrilla briefly joined Rahimo FC in Burkina Faso, continuing his progression beyond his homeland. He made his senior debut for Niger in October 2020 and was involved with the national side during the 2020 African Nations Championship. In 2021, he moved to Turkey to join Ankara Keçiörengücü, where his role broadened as he was also used at left-back and left wing-back. Djibrilla joined Azerbaijan’s Zira in January 2023, adding top-flight and European qualifying experience to his career. At Zira, he remains a versatile left-sided player whose attacking movement, crossing and recovery work support his development from forward into a wider tactical role.
