Ibrahim Diakité

Ibrahim Diakité is a Guinean right-back born in Compiègne, France, on 31 October 2003. He developed in the Stade de Reims academy from 2014, progressed to the reserve side in 2020 and reached the senior squad a year later. Diakité made his Ligue 1 debut for Reims against Marseille in December 2021. In January 2023, he moved to Belgian club AS Eupen on loan to gain regular senior experience. After returning to Reims, he joined Swiss side Stade Lausanne-Ouchy on loan in February 2024. He transferred to Cercle Brugge in July 2024, where he has continued his development in Belgium. At international level, Diakité debuted for Guinea against Ivory Coast in September 2022 and represented the Syli National at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Primarily a right-back, he can also operate centrally and contributes through physical defending, aerial play and short passing.
