In-Beom Hwang

In-Beom Hwang is a South Korean central midfielder from Daejeon. He developed in Daejeon Citizen’s youth system and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2015. During his mandatory military service, Hwang played for Asan Mugunghwa and helped South Korea win gold at the 2018 Asian Games. He moved to Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019, then joined Rubin Kazan in 2020, with a spell at FC Seoul following the suspension of his Russian contract. Hwang continued his career at Olympiacos, where he was named the club’s Player of the Season for 2022–23. He later played for FK Crvena Zvezda, winning a domestic double and receiving the SuperLiga Player of the Season award, before moving to Feyenoord and subsequently FC Porto. A South Korea international, Hwang started every match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
