Hugo Rincón Lumbreras

Hugo Rincón, whose full name is Hugo Rincón Lumbreras, is a Spanish right-back born in Valtierra on 27 January 2003. He developed in the youth system of CA Osasuna before joining Athletic Club’s Lezama academy in 2018. Rincón progressed through Athletic’s development sides, making his senior breakthrough with CD Basconia and then moving into Bilbao Athletic. In 2023–24, he captained Bilbao Athletic to the Segunda Federación Group 2 title and promotion. He joined CD Mirandés for the 2024–25 season, making 43 appearances, scoring three goals and providing six assists as the team reached the promotion play-off final. Rincón then moved to Girona, where he continued his progression in top-flight football during the 2025–26 season. Primarily a right-back, he can push forward as a wing-back, use overlapping runs to provide width and contribute to build-up play.
