Hans Vanaken
Hans Vanaken is a Belgian midfielder who was born in Neerpelt on 24 August 1992. He began his development at Lommel before joining the PSV Eindhoven academy in 2002. After returning to Lommel, Vanaken made his senior debut in 2010 and played in Belgium’s second division. His performances there earned a move to Sporting Lokeren, where he continued to develop as an attacking midfielder. In 2015, Vanaken transferred to Club Brugge, the club with which he has built the defining chapter of his career. At Club Brugge, he has operated between midfield and attack, combining his height with technical quality and a goal threat from advanced positions. Vanaken has also represented Belgium internationally and remains linked with both Club Brugge and the national team.
