Hendrik Van Crombrugge

Hendrik Van Crombrugge is a Belgian goalkeeper born in Leuven on 30 April 1993. He developed through Meensel-Kiezegem, VV Houtem, KVK Tienen and St. Truiden before joining Standard Liège’s academy in 2008. After beginning his senior career with a return to St. Truiden, Van Crombrugge established himself at AS Eupen, where he spent six seasons and made 182 appearances. He helped Eupen secure promotion to Belgium’s top flight and later captained the club. In August 2019, he moved to Anderlecht, becoming the first-choice goalkeeper, captain and an important outlet in the team’s build-up play. His form brought a Belgium call-up in September 2019, and he made his international debut in a 1–1 draw with Ivory Coast on 8 October 2020. In July 2023, Hendrik Van Crombrugge joined Genk, continuing his career in Belgian football.
