Hamed Junior Traorè

Hamed Junior Traorè is an Ivorian attacking midfielder born in Abidjan on 16 February 2000. He developed in Italy after joining ASD Boca Barco and was later recruited by Empoli, making his Serie B debut in 2017 before helping the club win promotion. Traorè reached Serie A with Empoli in August 2018 and moved to Sassuolo in 2019. At Sassuolo, particularly under Roberto De Zerbi, he developed into a progressive ball-carrier who could receive between the lines, dribble through pressure and operate centrally or from the left. In January 2023, Traorè joined Bournemouth on loan, with the move subsequently becoming permanent, and later spent time on loan at Napoli. He continued his career with Auxerre and is listed with Genoa. Traorè has also represented Côte d’Ivoire at senior international level.
