Håkon Røsten

Håkon Røsten is a Norwegian football defender who developed through Rosenborg’s youth system after joining the club’s academy in 2021. He made his senior debut for Rosenborg in the Norwegian Cup against Verdal in May 2022, before appearing in the Eliteserien as a substitute against Viking later that year. Røsten established himself more regularly in 2023, making 15 league appearances and scoring twice for Rosenborg. He also featured in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying rounds, gaining experience in European competition. To secure regular senior football, Rosenborg loaned him to Ranheim for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Røsten made 15 appearances in 2024 and played more than 2,300 minutes while adding a goal in 2025. Internationally, he progressed through Norway’s youth teams and represented Norway U20 at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
