Hemmo Riihimäki
Hemmo Riihimäki is a Finnish goalkeeper born on 3 June 2003. He developed in the KuPS academy, representing the club at under-19 level and playing for reserve side SC KuFu-98. Riihimäki moved into senior football through loans, joining KPV in 2021 and Ekenäs IF in 2022. He then joined SJK Seinäjoki in late 2023, where he made his Veikkausliiga debut on 16 August 2024, appearing as a substitute against Inter Turku. At youth international level, Riihimäki represented Finland Under-19, including UEFA European Championship qualifying matches. In January 2026, he returned to KuPS from SJK on a free transfer, continuing the connection that shaped his early career. With his 1.88-metre frame and right foot, Riihimäki offers a physical presence in goal, while his development has been built around gaining senior experience through academy, reserve and loan football.
