Herdi Besnik Prenga
Herdi Besnik Prenga is an Albanian centre-back born in Zadar, Croatia, on 31 August 1994. He developed in GNK Dinamo Zagreb’s youth system from 2004 to 2013 before beginning senior football with NK Sesvete on loan. Prenga then established himself in Croatia’s top flight with NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, making his HNL debut against Hajduk Split in February 2014. After a spell at Inter Zaprešić, where he helped win the Arena Cup in 2018, he moved to Latvia in 2019. With Riga FC, Prenga won consecutive Latvian league titles before continuing his career with Rīgas FS. At 1.90 metres, he offers a strong aerial presence and contributes to build-up play from central defence. Born in Croatia but representing Albania, he played at under-21 level and made his senior debut in a Nations League victory over Israel.
